Specific relief act, 1963 has been divided into seven head. ‘Recovering
possession of property, has been further divided into two heads namely.
a) Recovery of immovable property and
b) Recovery of movable property
Recovery of Immovable property can be done of basis of ownership or
on the basis of possession.
Procedure for recovery is as per code of civil procedure, 1908.
In prayer clause person seeking recovery shall have to specifically
mention about specific relief.

Therefore, it can be concluded that an owner of Immovable property and
even tenant’s right is protected by law provided that they have
entitlement by ownership (in case of owner) and entitlement to possession
